ImagineFX Issue 66
Imagine FX magazine

We're here to help breathe new life into your diigital art this month. With exclusive cover art from the brilliant young artist Charlie Bowater leading the way, this issue is about strengthening the skills you have and learning a new set of them, to make you the best artist you can be in the new year.

2010 was a great year for digital art, and we celebrate it by asking some of our favourite artists to share with us their highlights. And starting 2011 on a good foot, we speak to Marvel cover and fantasy illustrator Charles Vess on keeping things subtle and poetic. We've also got the Chesley award-winning Matthew Stewart in, with a whole load of his glorious epic fantasy art.

You can follow up Charlie's beautiful cover image with her workshop on page 70, plus Jace Wallace talks us through the making of a flirty sub-aquatic siren, and 3D artist Sunil Pant helps us discover the potential of Google SketchUp with his steampunk airship, and Andrea Bianco helps us design a horror character in GIMP. Plus, as ever, there's loads to discover on our free DVD, with two hours of workshops...
