50 Uses for a Dead Dragon
I don’t really do ‘serious’ work. Even my work with darker themes often has a silly detail or a hidden twist. I can’t help myself. Maybe it’s because I’m of a generally sunny disposition. I do have moments of gloom and melancholy, but even then my artwork is almost exclusively light-hearted.
I’ve noticed recently, while trying to force a smile on a painted figure, that many of my characters seem to inherit some of that glumness. Maybe it’s because I wore black a lot when I was a teenager. Actually, I still do. Anyway, I went through my portfolio and noticed that everyone looked like they’d just lost their favourite puppy.
