The ImagineFX Rising Stars showcase is back for 2011. Like last year’s opening event, the Rising Stars campaign aims to discover, promote and celebrate the best of today’s young sci-fi and fantasy artists and illustrators, whether digital or traditionally based, from around the world.
As long as you’re 25 or younger at time of entry, we want you to get involved. Our aim is to champion artists and the art community, and the Rising Stars event is our way to shine a light on new and emerging talent.
Whether you’re a full-time artist or an amateur hobbyist we want to hear from you. You can be based anywhere around the world, and there’s no charge for entry. The 10 best entrants will be featured in issue 75 of ImagineFX, on sale 20 September in the UK, and three weeks later in the US and overseas.
How to enter
Submit your best five digital or traditional pieces of artwork, with your full name, a short biography and photograph, to: firstname.lastname@example.org

The deadline for all entries is 1 August 2011.
